Hello, my name is Ina and I came here from Lithuania, small country near the Baltic sea. Currently I am doing an internship at ACARBIO and I can confirm that I enjoy every single moment of it. I’ve been here for one month and some days but it feels like half a year passed already. So many things happened. I got acquainted to the members of 3 workcamps of Make It Blue project and I also got to know almost 30 people from Make It Mediterranean. A lot of nice people and wonderful moments to remember.

I came to Minori in 30th of July and met the 2nd workcamp. I still remember how nice all of them were to me. I immediately forgot all the travelling troubles. Make it blue was something quite new for me. For example, I’ve never cooked a dinner for more than 5 people and here you had to guess how many grams of rice and pasta 12 (or sometimes even 27) people would eat. My task here was to capture all the extraordinary moments and support the campleader by making sure he isn’t forgetting anything. I have to mention that it was so great to work with Federico, the leader of the 4th worckcamp. He made my job to look more like a holiday. Also, the recycling of all the waste, saving resources, cleaning the environment and voluntary work made me respect ACARBIO and people participating in the Make It Blue project.

I was lucky to be here on August (it was also the time of the festivals, e.g. lemon, eggplant, wine). I am out of words to describe how good was my first month on the Amalfi coast and for sure I wouldn’t change this experience into anything else.
